Robuck Homes is proud to announce it’s partnership with Wake County Habitat for Humanity in an effort to build four homes in one week. Construction will begin on June 6th in the East Raleigh community of Maybrook Crossing. The four homes will be dedicated on June 13th. Robuck Homes will be one of four home builders for the Wake County area. Each builder will provide labor and donated materials to build the homes. Home Builders Blitz, a national Habitat for Humanity event, is the vision of local custom home builder Tom Gipson. In 2002, Mr. Gipson recruited 12 builders to construct one house each in a week with
donated materials. Tom is a member of the Habitat Wake Advisory Board. To date, professional builders through the Builder’s Blitz event have built 75 homes in partnership with Habitat Wake. Habitat’s
Builder’s Blitz project has resulted in 1,000 homes across the country. During the 2014 event, held nationwide June 6-13, professional builders will partner with local Habitat for Humanity affiliates to help
construct more than 300 new houses, and rehab or make substantial repairs to existing homes.
